I purchased a Ponderosa 2-horse trailer for $2500.00 on 3/5/04.I was listed as THIRD ASSIGNMENT on what I thought was the title transfer.Instead it was only the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin of Trailer.I got a drive out permit from Clinton Office of Motor Vehicles on 6/1/04.I never registered or got plates in Illinois because I never got my horse on property.I now want to register and get plates and Illinois will not do it because the first owner and the owner of Central Arkansas Trailer World never titled the trailer.I have to apply back to Arkansas to "request permission" for a Bonded Title and pay approx. $100.00 if it is approved.
